More about Allie

Hi you,

Thanks for being here. I’m Allie. I want to tell you a little about me.

They say you never work a day in your life when you truly love what you do. To say I love what I do is an understatement. And it’s hard to explain how much.  Honestly it’s hard to put into words what this blog and business has done for me and how much it means to me.

I am deeply passionate about being creative and decorating. I absolutely love making things with my hands and anything interior design related.

Let me tell you about myself and why I started this blog. Tyson and I struggled with infertility for 7 long and difficult years. All I ever wanted was to be a mom. I just didn’t see that happening. And it absolutely killed me. We went through infertility treatments over and over. Nothing was successful and nothing worked.

Tyson had a surgery, I had IUI’s, many many different kind of medications. Nothing worked. We drained all the money we had into fertility treatments. Every penny went towards growing a family. I still felt it was important to have a nice place to come home to even though we didn’t have a lot of money to buy expensive decorations.

So I decorated on a budget and became a DIY pro!

That’s when I decided I would start teaching other people the same thing. I started Rustic Passion in 2015 and it’s became the biggest part of my life besides my family.

If you’re wondering if we ever got through our infertility battle… We did. With the help of IVF I became a mama. My daughter was born in 2019 and my son was born in 2021. They are the biggest blessings I could have ever hoped for. Ever single struggle with infertility was worth it because it brought me them.
